Sitting in the corner
There’s a spider on the wall
In it’s web a fly is caught
Struggling hard, it hears the call
For a little life-span longer
For some food, some reproduction
But the spider doesn’t care
In it’s spider life perception

I can barely hear the crackling
But the ceiling ’s coming down
Should I wait, resign or whisper
Magic words - a little prayer?
Should I stand and fight, resist or
Should I celebrate and drown?
Hidden sea of countless souls
Never filled enough
Deepest ocean, memory flood
Are you just illusions mud?
Or a soothing, cleaning cut
- life’s resolving cut…?
… or should I….. understand?
